Tino is Managing Director of Hyland and has been with the company since 1984, the year after his father opened the business. Adopting a hands-on approach and growing up surrounded by containers and warehouses has given him a myriad of experience in the complexities of the freight forwarding business. In particular he has a natural ability to deliver value through the multimodal combinations of ocean, air and road freight.
Over the years he has worked on projects that have given him additional insights into factory moves, heavy lifts, yacht transport, stevedoring, ‘ro-ro’ operations, customs clearance and general logistics.
Jimmy has over 30 years experience in the freight forwarding industry in Ireland, including operational proficiency in all aspects of road freight, sea freight, air freight, sales and marketing. He has also been involved in the areas of project and service design, co-ordination and management. Furthermore he has experience as partner liaison for line and service development, account management and oversight.
